spring garden markers giveaway

Spring is HERE and it's time to get planting! 'A bird and a bean' got our 55th follower! Both are good reasons to celebrate and have a giveaway! Whoo-hoo!

Remember these little beauties? They're so pretty and perfect for any garden, inside or out. Great for inside an Easter basket or to give to your mama (or yourself) on Mother's day.

I am giving away 5 hand-stamped (by me) vintage silverware garden markers with your choice of words or plants. Lucky!

They are really simple to make if you have a stamp set and some vintage silverware. Check out my first post about them and you can learn how to make your very own. Easy Peasy.

Now onto the Giveaway.
Here's how you can win your own set of 5 hand-stamped vintage garden markers.

1. Become a follower of 'a bird and a bean' by clicking the little follow button in the sidebar. Leave a comment that says you did (or already are). Mention what you want to grow this year. (one entry)

2. Share about this giveaway on your own blog and / or on facebook. Leave a comment here that you did. (one entry each.)

I will announce a winner on Wednesday April 20th.

HAPPY SPRING!!!!

  18. I'm a new follower. This is our first year for planting a garden. My 5 year old is helping and I'm hoping it will get her to eat some of what she grows. We have the plant markers from Target dollar spot but these are so much cuter! If I don't win I'm going to have to find some vintage silverware!! We're growing green beans, broccoli, carrots, peppers, and lettuce. Now if we can just keep the deer away . . . . .

  36. I just became a follower. I LOVE these garden markers, they are so adorable!!! I was thinking about planting a pizza garden this year. Have you heard of that? You plant tomatoes, basil, oregano, and maybe some other stuff in a big pot and you have all you need to make a fresh homemade pizza right outside your door! These spoons would make an excellent edition to my pizza garden!!

I Love your spoon garden markers. I Love to garden with my 10 yr. old son. I make a little square in the corner of the garden and he makes his own mini garden with carrots, cucumbers, beans, peas etc. Very rewarding to watch him tend to his own garden and take pride in what he made.
